CC4ES Hope Gardeners at a glance
Building resilient communities with one garden at a time...
Gardening & Environmental Stewardship Outreach Education
Growing our own food empowers us to address food insecurity, and narrate our daily choices toward sustainability. Citizen scientist programs for environmental stewardship promote and nurture environmental health necessary for the well-being of the whole community.
Information Sharing & Dissemination
CC4ES Network Map and CC4ES Connect program make on-site service and assistance possible for communities and schools to access health and nutrition, housing and other necessary information and services from various agencies.
Job training & apprenticeship programs
Investing in local workforce development boosts community resilience and sustainability. CC4ES Connect network links community members with local and regional businesses for job training and apprenticeship in green job sectors.

CC4ES Hope Gardeners
former Providence School Gardeners
CC4ES Hope Gardeners convenes school and community gardeners of any shape and size for building sustainable and resilient communities. It is an expansion of Providence School Gardeners with the same purpose for a broader audience.
Sustainability begins at individual levels. Gardens to grow our own food not only cultivate sustainable lifestyle, but also teach us to embrace and celebrate the diversity among us. As a place of identity to community members, gardens ensure environmental, social and economic justice and equity.
“Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant”
Robert Louis Stevenson
